Job transfer forces me to sell my favorite vehicle of all time. The very solid and durable 2007 toyota 4runner 4wd with a 4. 0 v6 and a 5 speed automatic overdrive transmission. I purchased this vehicle a couple of years ago from the original owner who lived in texas where there is no snow or most importantly, there is no salt on the road. I learned quickly when i moved to chicago 5 years ago that cars get corroded really bad when exposed to salt on the roads. I bought a car when first moved to chicago and it was very clean inside and out. However, i started having all types of costly exhaust and suspension problems. After that, i was happy to fly all the way to texas and pick up this one owner vehicle. The original had taken care of this vehicle the same way i would have. He used premium mobil one synthetic oil every 3,000 miles, and kept the same process when i owned it. He also had the transfer case and transmission fluid flushed with toyota synthetic fluid and i did the same thing. We both had the gear oils changed with premium lucas oils at the front and rear differentials. This vehicle drives as smooth as it did 10 years ago. I purchased a warranty when i bought the vehicle and have only had to use it a couple of times. It is a transferrable warranty that covers powertrain, electricals, climate control system and more. It is transferrable and it expires in october. There is still around 15k miles left on the warranty because i didn't commute far. I don't call them snow tires because winter tires are made for cold weather period. I know my price isn't cheap and neither is my vehicle. In addition to buying an extra set of wheels and tires, i bought a warranty and had it rust proofed. Please be advised, photos will be taken and posted as soon as i get the car cleaned.
